Samsung Galaxy J7 Duo is the cheapest Samsung phones that features a dual rear camera. The dual camera setup has 13 MP primary camera and a 5 MP depth-sensing camera. The front side has an 8 MP camera. The camera performance is good, no complaints whatsoever. Though the display is not best in class still provides good visibility indoors and outdoors. The 5.5 inches Super AMOLED display has a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels at 267 PPI density. It is powered by Exynos 7885 octa-core 2.2 GHz processor coupled with Mali-G71 GPU.

Under the hood, there is a 3000 mAh battery that gives average backup. The phone has the durable build quality that can bear the hand drops up to some extent. But I won't recommend you to do the same unless you are very curious to test the strength of the phone. Overall, Galaxy J7 Duo is decent but not impressive. But for someone who only wants Samsung with dual camera in the investing much, J7 Duo is the one.

Samsung J8 is all set to hit the market any time soon. It features a 6 inches Super AMOLED HD display with 18.5:9 aspect ratio. The display is good but a full HD one would have made it a better option. This dual-SIM phone will run on Android 8.0 (Oreo). It packs Snapdragon 450 1.8 GHz octa-core processor with 4 GB of RAM which gives you flawless multitasking and gaming experience. It gets 64 GB of inbuilt storage along with a dedicated micro SD card slot that supports up to 256 GB.
But above all, the one thing that I am most curious about is the camera. It has a dual rear camera with 16 MP + 5 MP sensors with all sorts of software features that you get in smartphones of this range. J8 also takes care of your selfies very well with its 16 MP camera that too with LED flash. Great selfies will be possible with the Galaxy J8 even at night. The fingerprint is mounted on the rear side and there is no home button and navigation buttons. This will be powered by a 3500 mAh battery.

Samsung Galaxy A6+ is one more below midrange smartphones launched by Samsung this year. It has a 6 inches Super AMOLED full HD display with 411 PPI density. Samsung has tried to keep the bezels thin but little more would have been better to reduce the dimension of the phone. It will run on Android 8.0 (Oreo) out of the box and powered by Snapdragon 450 processor. The SD 450 does not justify the price and features of this phone at all. Samsung should have used the Snapdragon 625 or above.
It is available in two variants, 3 GB with 32 GB and 4 GB RAM with 64 GB internal storage. Both the models will have a dedicated card slot so storage won't be a problem. In 2018, users can compromise with the processor but not with the camera. The camera has become the first priority in the smartphones and Samsung knows that. Samsung Galaxy A6+ one of the best front and rear camera setup in its class. The dual rear 16MP + 5MP sensors capture amazing photos and videos. And selfies are even better with the A6+ 24 MP front camera and flash.
It has NFC, Bluetooth 4.2 and Dolby Atmos sound that works in headphones and speakers. A 3500 mAh battery keeps the phone running for the whole day. Though the phone is a bit heavier and feels big, it looks premium and stylish like any flagship phone.

The 6 inches display is large enough for most of the users. But what if you want more, that too from Samsung, Galaxy A8 Star is for you. From looks to display to performance, it has everything that users need. Starting with the display, the Galaxy A8 Star has a 6.3 inches Super AMOLED full HD display. The bezels have been cut down to raise the screen to body ratio to 80.6%. This phone for sure cannot be operated with one hand but you will comfortable with it after few hours and after all, it is your choice to pick the large display phone.
Moving ahead, it will run on Android 8.0 Oreo and powered by the Snapdragon 660 that is a huge plus point for this phone. It has 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage space. You can even add the micro SD card up to 512 GB at the sacrifice of the SIM in the second slot. There is one more thing that I really like about the phone, camera. After the recent launches by Samsung, it is clear that Samsung does not want to lose the mid-range battle with the Chinese manufacturers, like Xiaomi, Huawei, Oppo, and Vivo.
Samsung Galaxy A8 Star packs a dual rear camera with 24 MP + 16 MP sensors and a 24 MP camera on the front side along with an LED flash. Samsung has also provided the Dolby Atmos sound in the headphones that will enhance the audio output to a more realistic type. That's not it, A8 Star has Bluetooth 5.0 which is way faster and delivers far better range than the older versions. And to keep all those features working there is a 3700 mAh battery.
