Start your review of Make Money From Blogging: How To Start A Blog While Raising A Family

Other reviewers have done a good job of telling you what this book is about and how it does exactly what the title promises - take you by the hand and walk you though a sensible and practical, step-by-step action plan to create a successful blog. Like all Sally's books, it's like sitting down with a good friend - very pleasant read in good company. I'm not raising a family (my child is an adult) so don't have the kid-management and time-management issues, but there is still plenty of value here Other reviewers have done a good job of telling you what this book is about and how it does exactly what the title promises - take you by the hand and walk you though a sensible and practical, step-by-step action plan to create a successful blog. I'm not raising a family (my child is an adult) so don't have the kid-management and time-management issues, but there is still plenty of value here for anyone, of any age and in any life situation who has always wanted to start a money-making blog, but wasn't quite sure where to start.
I have had a blog in the past, don't currently, but so many times while reading had that AH-HA moment - yep, that's what I did wrong, or should have done at that point. With this book I feel ready to push the overwhelming amounts of (often conflicting) information aside, take what I did learn and this fresh, smart advice and try again. I thought this book would be like a lot of books out there - superficial and like an extended blog post in itself. Boy was I wrong! This book is an in-depth and thoughtfully put together full book that is also easy to read with lots of takeaways. I must say, I am still not convinced a Pinterest strategy is right for me and my blog but I will put it on the long to do list. Other tips - like long form key words and making my Instagram profile into a business one, I have instigated right away. Not for me..I want to share my thoughts/blogs from a place of giving. Thinking I would have to make a living with it is, as I know now, not in line with how I see the world and what I came here to do. But hey, for all you manifestors out there - go get them!

Very informative

This book offered a lot of information about how to make money with a blog. I found it helpful that there were specific detailed steps and actions to take and not just general advice like some other books I've tried.

Oh how I needed this book. It is packed full of nuggets and inspirational concepts that will help any serious blogger.

Very Helpful Tips

I am a teacher blogger and this book had several helpful tips for me. The action steps listed are practical and easy to implement.
